Six hours after a ceasefire was implemented by Israel in accordance with a proposition from Egypt in an effort to resolve the violent situation diplomatically, attacks on Gaza have recommenced. According to the spokesperson for Hamas, the organization was not informed of the so-called truce, ultimately finding out through media; Israel itself agreed to the truce merely a few minutes before its implementation.
