The Cameroon army, in joint operation with Nigerian forces, has led a successful military mission in the Nigerian village of Kumshe against Boko Haram. Issa Tchiroma Bakary, Cameroon’s communications minister, released a statement that only two Cameroon soldiers were killed in comparison to ninety-two Boko Haram militants. The event gives hope that multinational forces may be able to liberate more border villages from the terrorist group’s control.
