Two brothers, Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui, were two of the four attackers in the Brussels bombings yesterday morning. It is suspected that Khalid was the suicide bomber in the Maelbeek metro station, while his brother Brahim and another man died setting off explosives at the airport. Najim Laachraoui, the only known surviving attacker, is reported to have been arrested this morning by Belgian police. Both brothers had criminal records and were known by the police, while Laachraoui was a known accomplice of Salah Abdeslam, who was arrested on Friday for his involvement in the Paris attacks. Only one of the victims’ identifications has been released so far as Adelma Tapia Ruiz, 37. The Peruvian native was at the airport with her Belgian husband and two twin daughters during the attack. Her husband and children were unharmed.
